Playboy Playmate Deborah Driggs has been in front of the camera almost from the very start. Deborah was born in Oakland, California on December 13, 1967, but moved with her family down to Southern Cali immediately afterwards. Deborah's mother started placing her in baby beauty contests at the age of 6 months, and she has never been far from the spotlight since. Deborah started modeling in local catalogs and such at the age of 4 years. The bulk of her childhood, though, was spent in pursuit of her ice skating dreams. Every morning, she would wake up at 4 AM to begin her training regimen, and Deborah continued skating competitively through eighth grade. That's when her parents split up and Deborah went to live with her father. In high school, Deborah claims she was a shy teen, although she did participate in everything from track to cheerleading to dance. After graduating, she attended Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, California, where she was a member of the cheerleading squad and won the title of Saddleback Homecoming Queen in 1983. Deborah spent her freshman year at Saddleback commuting back and forth from school to the Los Angeles Coliseum, where she had won a job as a cheerleader for the USFL's L.A. Express. One year of school was enough for her, and she quit the next year to become a flight attendant for American Airlines. Deborah wasn't thrilled with that job, either, so she quit and moved to Japan with a couple of girlfriends. In Japan, Deborah got jobs as a dancer and an aerobics instructor, and she stayed in the country even when her two gal pals jetted back to the States. Eventually, Deborah followed them, but she still had her sights set on better things. One day in 1989, she walked into the Playboy offices and declared that she wanted to be a lingerie model for them. One look at her and Playboy did her one better -- Deborah Driggs became their Playmate of the Month for March 1990! Since her centerfold spread, Deborah has enjoyed some success as an actress and model. Her film appearances include such b-movie fare as 'Night Rhythms,' 'Total Exposure' and 'Martial Law II.' More importantly, it was at an acting class that Deborah met her current husband, former Olympic gymnast Mitch Gaylord. The couple were married in 1992, and now have three children together. Deborah continues to make occasional appearances for Playboy and is a member of the Playboy X-treme Team.
