Starring: This is a gem, folks -- one of the late Alex DeRenzy's great vignette featuring some of the great, truly nasty ladies of that era. Among them: Kelly Nichols, Stacy Donovan, Cody Nicole, Joanna Storm, Dorothy LeMay, Helga Sven, Colleen Brennan, and Jacqueline Lorians. Some of the guys are less well-known, but you'll recognize veteran studs Billy Dee, Francois Papillon, and Tom Byron, along with Jamie Gillis. Acting is not a factor here, and doesn't have to be. The performers are gorgeous and the sexplay is hot!

There's no story to mess with in this 1984 release, just a series of vignettes that are crisply photographed and edited by DeRenzy. He does make an effort to vary the sets -- mostly actual homes, rather than studio backdrops -- and that helps with the visual variety of the scenes. This flick is a prime example of why DeRenzy gained a reputation as one of the great erotic filmmakers of all time.

This is top-notch stuff, even by the frenzied standards of 21st-century porn. Jacqie Lorians visits Jamie Gillis, who is working at a film-editing table. To show her how it functions, he runs a few of DeRenzy's latest scenes. First, "Christian" goes with a buddy to visit the friend's "Auntie. " (Sorry, there are no credits on the film, and as I said, some of the male members of the cast are very seldom-seens. ) "Auntie" Helga Sven turns on her ZsaZsa imitation and seduces both guys in her bubblebath. The "nephew" quickly drops out, but Christian bangs her to screaming ecstasy. Buxom Helga's an acquired taste for some, but she'll certainly satisfy your older woman fantasy in this scene! Up next is Stacey, who answers an ad to share an apartment with Cody. The two blondes hit it off so well that they jump right into the sack for a lesbian lambada that sears the sheets. Great stuff for girl-girl fans. Next, it's Kelly's birthday, and Billy Dee has gotten her a present -- a gift-packaged stud named "Rocky. " He joins with Billy to create a tasty Kelly sandwich, in a dizzying variety of positions. Kelly shows why she was one of the great pornstresses of the '80s. By this time, Jacqie is getting very turned on, and she and Jamie are starting some serious foolin' around as he puts on the next reel. It's Joanna Storm, sharing breakfast with her lover "Christian" (the guy gets around) in what appears to be a very open relationship. After a nice shower/masturbation scene, Joanna gets it on with her personal trainer, Francois Papillon, on the weight bench. Christian returns with Dorothy LeMay, in one of her earliest appearances. After Joanna orally pleases Dorothy's pussy, the scene evolves into a hot foursome, Francois on Dorothy, Christian on Joanna. Jacqie is really into it now, bending over the editing machine as Jamie takes her from behind. Without warning, we're plunged into the last vignette, as lingerie-clad Colleen Brennan takes to bed for a little self-pleasuring. She soon notices peeping Tom Byron and Blair Harris and invites them in for a Colleen sandwich, which they heartily devour. By this time, Jamie and Jacqie are reaching their climax, too, as the last reel whirls off the editing table. This is primo porn, people -- no story, no romance, no filler (not much, anyway) -- just lots of hot sex.

The casting and the blistering sex scenes, including two hot anal threesomes. That's all there needs to be, and it's all superb.

There is some intercutting in the latter part of the film between the Jamie/Jacqie tryst and what they're supposedly watching, but in this case the heat is so high you'll hardly notice.

Normally I'd reserve a "10" rating for a well-made adult film that features an interesting story and convincing characters, as well as dynamite sex. But "Dirty Girls" is such an outstanding example of DeRenzy's abilities -- not to mention the abilities of the great cast he featured -- that I can't help myself. This is one to buy and keep! RATING: 10 and then some.
